For You, From Us
We support international students after they arrive in Ireland — when real life starts.
Most agencies focus on getting students into Ireland, while we focus on what happens after you arrive. Cork Study Connect provides post-arrival support in Ireland, helping students navigate housing, visas, jobs, course concerns and cultural adjustment when real life begins.
We are local, accessible, and strictly driven by what is best for our students. By offering honest guidance, real community and provide support even to students who didn’t come through an agent, we build trust, reduce stress, and ensure international students feel supported long after their visa is approved.
Ready to create opportunites?
We want to create the brightest future for you, and it starts here. We’ll guide and support you through every step of the way, whether its furthering your education or finding employment we will make sure to expand your horizons! So what are we waiting for? Lets connect!
STUDENT LIFE IN IRELAND
Student life in Ireland is vibrant, friendly, and full of character. The country has a strong student culture, with plenty of cafés, pubs, libraries, and green spaces that make it easy to balance study and social life. Ireland offers a welcoming environment where students can enjoy a mix of modern facilities and rich cultural traditions.
With live music, festivals, and a relaxed atmosphere, Ireland creates a warm and inclusive experience for international students. Whether you're exploring historic sites, enjoying the natural landscapes, or connecting with new friends, Ireland makes it easy to feel at home and become part of the community.
A word from the founder
I’m Lisa Tetteh, founder of Cork Study Connect. Although I was born in Ghana, I’ve grown up in Cork since the age of four, and my own experience of adapting to a new country shaped my passion for helping others do the same. I know what it feels like to start fresh, to navigate a new culture, and to search for a sense of belonging — and that’s why supporting international students means so much to me.
I created Cork Study Connect to give students more than enrolment assistance. I wanted to offer real, on-the-ground support from someone who understands their journey. From choosing the right course to settling into life in Ireland, I guide students every step of the way so they feel confident, welcomed, and supported.
Alongside this, I run Tetteh and Co Financial, where I help new businesses grow — work that has strengthened my commitment to community, structure, and empowerment.
My goal is simple:
to help every student not only study in Ireland, but truly feel at home here.
